Ogden Museum of Southern Art

The mission of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art is to broaden the knowledge, understanding, interpretation, and appreciation of the visual arts and culture of the American South through its events, permanent collections, changing exhibitions, educational programs, publications, and research.

The Ogden Museum of Southern Arts strives to contain the most comprehensive collection of "Southern Art" in the world.  It is part of the University of New Orleans.

Monday: 10AM - 5PM Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: 10AM - 5PM Thursday: 10AM - 5PM (Museum reopens at 6PM with live music until 8PM) Friday: 10AM - 5PM Saturday: 10AM - 5PM Sunday: 10AM - 5PM Docent-led tours are available on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 2PM (with regular Museum admission). Admission Free to LA Residents Thursdays 10AM - 5PM Courtesy of The Helis Foundation Museum Members FREE UNO (Students, Faculty & Staff (with current ID)* FREE Adults $10 Seniors((65 and over) $8 Children (under 5) FREE Children (ages 5-17) $5 Students (with current ID) $5
