Madame John's Legacy

Madame John's Legacy is one of the few structures that survived the fire of 1795 that destroyed most of the buildings in the French Quarter.  It was built in 1789 and is a unique example of the architecture and residential design of the period.  It is now a Louisiana State Museum.
