Cajun Queen Riverboat

Cajun Queen Riverboat is an authentic replica of an old riverboat that provided passenger service along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts during the late 19th Century.

Cruises aboard the 950-person capacity Cajun Queen Paddlewheeler include:

  • One Hour Harbor Cruise:  Includes a narration of famous landmarks, history & river lore as you view the historic French Quarter, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral and the French Market.
  • Two and a half hour cruise to the site of the 1815 Battle of New Orleans.   Narration of the history, and landmarks passed along the way, while you enjoy a Creole luncheon.
  • Nightime 3-hour Dinner Jazz Cruise:  Includes a Creole buffet in elegantly appointed dining rooms with a lively jazz band.

Directions to the Cajun Queen:

From Baton Rouge
Take I-10 East towards New Orleans for approximately 77 miles. Take Exit 234-B, Poydras St./Superdome Exit. Continue on Poydras and the Dock is located on the River at the end of Poydras.

From Slidell and New Orleans East
Take I-10 West into New Orleans. As you approach the city, take the Canal Street Exit (235 B). You will curve around, then go Right on Canal Street Continue on Canal until you reach the river at the end of Canal.
